Since opening during a global pandemic, we have strived to ensure that Faversham Smiles is as safe as possible for all patients, staff, and visitors.
there will be very few changes in our procedures. Whilst it will no longer be mandatory, we will still have face coverings available for everyone within the practice should they wish to wear one.
Staff will still wear appropriate personal protective equipment, although you may notice the type or appearance of this change in some instances. For example, staff in communal areas such as reception will have the option to wear a face covering. Should you have any queries or concerns regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to ask your dentist.
We have taken steps to ensure that we can remain open, and have been able to see and treat many members of the community so far.
As a community, we have come a great distance in minimising the spread and impact of COVID-19, and as such we are sure that you understand the need to keep the practice as safe as we can for all patients and staff.
Your health and wellbeing is our first priority. In visiting our practice, you can rest assured that you will be greeted with our spotlessly clean surgeries and stringent decontamination processes. Due to Covid-19, we have put extra measures in place. Here is some useful information about visiting the practice during this time.
We do appreciate that some patients may require a chaperone (for example a child attending with their parent or carer, an individual with a physical or leaning disability, or a patient who experiences dental anxiety).
Please note, chaperones will be required to complete the same COVID-19 screening questionnaire as the attending patient.
Please note that some dental practices may charge patients an additional fee to cover the cost of PPE. We have decided not to charge our loyal returning patients or patients joining us.
